The Pella City Council will hold a public meeting on April 16, 2024, at 6:00 P.M. to receive public comments regarding an ordinance amending the zoning ordinance of the City of Pella, Iowa, by amending Table 165.12-3 for the purpose of permitting microbreweries to operate in the Central Business District (CBD). A copy of the proposed ordinance is available for review in the office of the City Clerk at 825 Broadway St., Pella, Iowa. This meeting is open to the public and all interested parties are invited to attend. The meeting will be held at the City of Pella’s Public Safety Complex, 614 Main Street, Pella, IA 50219. Those attending will have the ability to provide verbal comments during the dedicated public hearing.
