Pella boys’ golf won its district event on May 8 to earn the right to move on to sectionals and a chance at the state tournament.
The Dutch score was 305, five strokes ahead of second-place Grinnell. Cade McGinley finished fourth at 72; Kyler Besick sixth at 76; AJ Hoekstra ninth at 78; Cole Floden twelfth at 79; Luke Naig at 79; Patrick Bishara at 24th at 85.
Pella moves on to the sectional event at Williamsburg Stone Creek Golf Course Monday, May 13, at 10 a.m.
