Jan 14th:
In the past 24 hours Marion County Sheriff’s deputies responded to 45 calls for service
including, but not limited to: 14 extra patrol requests, 9 paper service attempts, 3 follow
ups, 3 vehicle accidents, 3 returned calls, 2 requests to assist other agencies, 1 grass
fire, 1 report of a suspicious odor, 1 rescue, 1 report of harassment, 1 vehicle unlock, 1
report of debris in the roadway, 1 theft, 1 trespass, 1 report of a deer in the roadway, 1
report of a suspicious vehicle, and 1 other call.
In the past 24 hours the Marion County Sheriff’s office communications center fielded 99
calls including 32 911 calls.
The Marion County Jail is currently holding 21 subjects. In the past 24 hours, 3 subjects
were booked into the Marion County Jail: Kyle Blair, age 24 of Oskaloosa, charged with
reckless driving, and speeding; Jill Kathleen Grimes, age 47 of Bussey, charged with
assault law officer/ others, domestic assault-bodily injury 1st, and interfere with official
acts-bodily injury; Aaron Christian Bohn, age 43 of Pella, charged with OWI 1st offense.
Jan 15th:
In the past 24 hours deputies responded to 42 calls for service including but not limited
to: 25 patrol requests, 5 paper service attempts, 2 accidents, 2 transports, 2 wanted
subjects, 1 follow up call, 1 dog call, 1 incomplete 911, 1 reckless driver, and 2 other
calls.
In the past 24 hours the communications center fielded 85 calls including 28 911 calls.
The jail is currently holding 19 subjects. In the past 24 hours, 1 subject was booked into
the jail: Lacey Nichole Reynolds, age 37 of Knoxville, was charged with violation of
probation
Jan 16th:
In the past 24 hours deputies responded to 33 calls for service including but not limited
to: 13 extra patrol requests, 3 accidents, 3 paper service attempts, 2 follow ups, 1
residential fire, 1 animal bite, 1 request for assistance, 1 report of fraud, 1 wanted
person check, 1 parking complaint, 1 welfare check, 1 violation of no contact order, 1
civil matter, 1 report of a grass fire, 1 motorist assist, and 1 deer.
In the past 24 hours the communications center fielded 99 calls including 28 911 calls.
The jail is currently holding 19 subjects. In the past 24 hours, 1 subject was booked into
the Marion County Jail: Nichol Skylee Gerdom, age 32 of Bussey, charged with failure
to appear/contempt of court.
Jan 17th:
In the past 24 hours deputies responded to 46 calls for service including but not limited
to: 14 accidents, 8 paper service attempts, 2 vehicle unlocks, 2 extra patrols requests, 1
returned call, 1 structure fire, 1 salvage tag, 1 report of debris in the roadway, 1 theft, 1
motorist assist, 1 follow up, 1 dispute, 1 request to meet someone, 1 incomplete 911, 1
cat, 1 request to assist another agency, 1 rescue, 1 vehicle inspection, 1 report of a
grass fire, 1 wanted person, 1 report of suspicious activity, and 3 other calls for service.
In the past 24 hours the communications center fielded 100 calls including 33 911 calls.
The jail is currently holding 19 subjects. In the past 24 hours, 4 subjects were booked
into the jail: Joshua Raye Brown, age 40 of Des Moines, was charged with violation of
probation; Elizabeth Anne Garrett, age 37 of Des Moines, was on hold for other agency;
Robert Allen Kline, Jr., age 52 of Knoxville, was charged with driving under suspension
and contempt-violation no contact order; Daniel Joseph Jebson, age 51 of Melcher-
Dallas, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and driving under
suspension

In the past 24 hours deputies responded to 42 calls for service including but not limited
to: 12 extra patrol requests, 5 paper service attempts, 3 wanted people, 2 deer, 2 follow
ups, 2 return calls, 2 domestics, 2 requests for a welfare check, 2 reckless drivers, 2
suicidal subjects, 1 rescue, 1 grass fire, 1 dog, 1 report of suspicious oder, 1 motorist
assist, 1 assist for another agency, and 2 other calls for service.
In the past 24 hours the communications center fielded 95 calls including 22 911 calls.
The jail is currently holding 15 subjects. In the past 24 hours, 4 subjects were booked
into the jail: Amber Michelle Boyd, age 29 of Ottumwa, was charged with possession of
drug paraphernalia, driving while barred, and possession of marijuana 2nd; Jessica
Lynn Emerson, age 36 of Albia, was charged with 4 counts of prohibited acts-sch 1-111
controlled substance, and wanton neglect of a resident of a healthcare facility; John Carl
Dean Self, age 33 of Knoxville, was brought in on a judgment entry/mittimus; Rockie
Lee Marvelli, age 64 of Knoxville, was charged with harassment-1st degree.
