Feb 2nd:
In the past 24 hours, Marion County Sheriff’s deputies responded to 29 calls for service
including, but not limited to: 13 extra patrol requests, 6 paper service attempts, 3
rescues, 3 return calls, 1 incomplete 911, 1 report of livestock in roadway, 1 dog, and 1
accident.
In the past 24 hours, the Marion County Sheriff’s office communications center fielded
68 calls including 14 911 calls.
The Marion County Jail is currently holding 24 subjects. In the past 24 hours, 4 subjects
were booked into the Marion County Jail: Teresa Marie Little, age 46 of Pleasantville,
was charged with OWI-1st offense; Bobby Joe Raney, age 34 of Knoxville, was charged
with judgment entry/mittimus; Steven Troy Johnson, age 59 of Knoxville, was changed
with sex offender registration-other offense; Logan Earl Waldo, age 20 of Knoxville, was
charged with harassment 1st degree and criminal mischief 5th degree.

In the past 24 hours, deputies responded to 24 calls for service including, but not limited
to: 10 extra patrol requests, 2 residential fires, 1 report of a suspicious vehicle, 1 theft, 1
requests to check welfare, 1 rescue, 1 report of a reckless driver, 1 report of an
unlicensed driver, 1 domestic, 1 report of suspicious activity, 1 paper service attempt, 1
report of disturbing the peace and quiet, 1 request to assist another agency, and 1 other
call for service.
In the past 24 hours, the communications center fielded 70 calls including 12 911 calls.
The jail is currently holding 23 subjects. In the past 24 hours, 1 subject was booked into
the jail: Stephen Nicholas Slagter, age 32 of Knoxville, was charged with driver’s license
denied/revoked-OWI.

Feb 4th:
In the past 24 hours, deputies responded to 40 calls for service including, but not limited
to: 12 extra patrol requests, 7 paper service attempts, 4 rescues, 3 follow ups, 2
requests to meet subjects, 2 motorist assist, 1 report of a suspicious person, 1 report of
trespass, 1 request to assist another agency, 1 juvenile, 1 report of a reckless driver, 1
returned call, 1 accident, and 2 other calls for service.
In the past 24 hours, the communications center fielded 96 calls including 25 911 calls.
The jail is currently holding 22 subjects. In the past 24 hours, 1 subject was booked into
the jail: Amy Lynn Ross, age 33 of Knoxville, was charged with harassment-3rd degree.

In the past 24 hours, deputies responded to 29 calls for service including, but not limited
to: 7 paper service attempts, 3 rescue calls, 3 follow up calls, 3 extra patrol requests, 2
suspicious persons, 1 suspicious vehicle, 1 harassment, met with 1 subject, 1 cat call, 1
illegal dump, 1 domestic, 1 transport, 1 motorist assist, 1 accident, 1 intoxicated driver,
and 1 other call.
In the past 24 hours, the communications center fielded 64 calls including 29 911 calls.
The jail is currently holding 19 subjects. In the past 24 hours, 1 subject was booked into
the jail: Shawn Patrick Kenndy, age 55 of Leighton, was charged with driving while
barred.

Feb 6th:
In the past 24 hours, deputies responded to 39 calls for service including, but not limited
to: 15 paper service attempts, 12 extra patrol requests, 4 rescue calls, 1 grass fire, 1
debris call, returned 1 phone call, 1 accident, 1 juvenile, 1 suspicious person, and 2
other calls.
In the past 24 hours, the communications center fielded 64 calls including 15 911 calls.
The jail is currently holding 20 subjects. In the past 24 hours, 2 subjects were booked
into the jail: Michael George Lemon, Jr., age 41 of Ottumwa, was charged with driving
under suspension, and possession of drug paraphernalia; Bobby Joe Raney, age 34 of
Knoxville, was charged with judgment entry/mittimus.

In the past 24 hours, deputies responded to 42 calls for service including, but not limited
to: 16 extra patrol requests, 9 paper service attempts, 3 follow ups, 2 return calls, 1
welfare check, 1 wanted person, 1 reckless driver, 1 juvenile call, 1 fraud call, 1 horse in
the roadway, 1 vehicle unlock, 1 deer in the roadway, 1 transport, 1 civil call, 1 vehicle
accident, and 1 request to assist another agency.
In the past 24 hours, the communications center fielded 86 calls including 11 911 calls.
The jail is currently holding 19 subjects. In the past 24 hours, 3 subjects were booked
into the jail: Braydon John Epping, age 20 of Knoxville, was charged with driving under
suspension, driving while license suspended, and provide proof financial liability;
Heather Lyn Gonterman, age 43 of Bussey, was charged with possession-marijuana
1st, and possession of drug paraphernalia; Ethyn Jakob Wayne Elliott, age 19 of
Knoxville, was charged with owi-1st offense.

vehicle, 1 returned call, 1 report of disturbing the peace and quiet, 1 vehicle fire, 1 report
of debris in the roadway, 1 domestic, and 3 other calls for service.
