The Pella Police Department engaged in the following activities during the week of Feb.
9-15, 2025: 159 calls for service, 10 traffic citations, 31 traffic warnings, 32 parking
tickets, two accidents, three arrests, eight charges, zero juvenile referrals or warrant
arrests.
COMMUNICATION CENTER WEEKLY STATS
The Pella Police Department Communications Center engaged in the following activities
during the same period: 249 incoming telephone calls and 48 total incoming 911 calls.
ARRESTS:
• On 02/10/25, a subject from Newton was charged with possession of drug
paraphernalia. The subject was released with a summons to appear.
• On 02/12/25, a subject from Pella was charged with domestic abuse assault causing
bodily injury 1st offense and obstruction of emergency communications. The subject
was incarcerated.
• On 02/14/25, a subject from Pella was charged with assault, and criminal mischief 3rd
degree. The subject was incarcerated.
