New football districts announced

The Iowa High School Athletic Association has announced the 2025-26 football districts.
Here’s where our Marion County teams landed:
Knoxville: Class 3A, District 8, including Des Moines Christian, Nevada, Saydel,
Williamsburg and Winterset.
Melcher-Dallas: 8-Player, District 7, including Baxter, Montezuma, Moravia, Southeast
Warren, Twin Cedars and Wayne.
Pella: Class 4A, District 4, including Clear Creek-Amana, Grinnell, Marion, Newton and
Oskaloosa.
Pella Christian: Class 2A, District 7, including Albia, Centerville, Davis County, PCM and
South Tama County.
Pleasantville: Class 1A, District 7, including I-35, Ogden, Panorama, West Central
Valley and West Marshall.
Twin Cedars: 8-player, District 7, including Baxter, Melcher-Dallas, Montezuma,
Moravia, Southeast Warren and Wayne.
