In the past 24 hours, Marion County Sheriff’s deputies responded to 16 calls for service
including, but not limited to: 2 domestics, 1 livestock call, 1 wanted subject, 1 rescue
call, 1 grass fire, 1 accident, 1 vehicle fire, 1 dispute, 1 disturbing peace and quiet call, 1
intoxicate driver, 1 horse call, 1 extra patrol request, and three other calls.
In the past 24 hours, the Marion County Sheriff’s office communications center fielded
197 calls including 29 911 calls.
The Marion County Jail is currently holding 27 subjects. In the past 24 hours, 2 subjects
were booked into the Marion County Jail: Rilea Ann Deney, age 18 of Oskaloosa, was
charged with OWI-1st offense; McKenna Marie Bloodsworth, age 27 of Knoxville, was
charged with domestic assault-bodily injury-1st
April 8:
In the past 24 hours, deputies responded to 47 calls for service including, but not limited
to: 18 extra patrol requests, 7 paper service attempts, 3 return calls, 2 incomplete 911s,
2 rescues, 2 reports of suspicious activity, 2 motorist assists, 1 juvenile, 1 request to
assist another agency, 1 dog, 1 report of a suspicious person, 1 report of suspicious
item, 1 transport, 1 welfare check, 1 vehicle unlock, 1 follow up, and 2 other calls for
service.
In the past 24 hours, the communications center fielded 92 calls including 22 911 calls.
The jail is currently holding 22 subjects. In the past 24 hours, 1 subject was booked into
the jail: Dustin Edward Flander, age 55 of Oskaloosa, possession of drug paraphernalia,
and possession of a controlled substance 3 rd .

In the past 24 hours, deputies responded to 42 calls for service including, but not limited
to: 12 extra patrol requests, 8 paper service attempts, 4 return calls, 3 reports of
reckless drivers, 2 incomplete 911’s, 2 rescues, 1 domestic, 1 report of a suspicious
vehicle, 1 dog, 1 follow up, 1 wanted person, 1 civil matter, 1 request for a vehicle
unlock, 1 found item, 1 request to meet a person, 1 juvenile, and 1 accident.
In the past 24 hours, the communications center fielded 158 calls including 52 911 calls.
The jail is currently holding 23 subjects. In the past 24 hours, 4 subjects were booked
into the jail: Bradley Michael Starn, age 41 of Newton, was charged with driving while
barred; Michael Dietrich, age 61 of Knoxville, was charged with fraudulent practice 1st
degree; Jaci Lynae Buckley, age 23 of Oskaloosa, was charged failure to
appear/contempt of court; Michael Dwight Poffenbarger, age 64 of Knoxville, was
charged with unlawful possession of prescription drugs and possess of drug
paraphernalia.

to: 10 extra patrol, 10 rescue calls, 3 vehicle inspection requests, 2 motorist assists, 1
follow up call, 1 suspicious activity, 1 dog call, 1 suspicious person, 1 livestock, 1 road
debris, 1 assault, 1 return call, 1 paper service, and 2 others.
In the past 24 hours, the communications center fielded 158 calls including 52 911 calls.

Des Moines, and Javier Alexis Rodriguez Guido, age 21 of Des Moines, are on hold for
another agency; Dustin Dean William Hathaway, age 26 of Knoxville, and Jeffrey Ray
Wear, age 25 of Pleasant Hill, were booked in on judgment entry/mittimus.
