Stephenie was born on October 7, 1973, to Steve and Jolene Thomas. She grew up in
Harvey and eventually moved to Knoxville where she spent the rest of her days.
Growing up, she had four siblings and loved every person in her family deeply. One of
her favorite hobbies was going shopping and grabbing a meal with her sister Nichole.
Not only did Stephenie love seeing and spending time with her family, but she also
enjoyed any time she got to see her friends whom she treated like family. Spending time
with her best friend, Krystal Johnson Ashley and her niece Zion Johnson Ashley was
very important and meant the world to her!
As much as Stephenie loved her family and friends, she also loved purses, make-up,
shoes and coffee. Everything that makes a girls world go round! She was simple and
enjoyed the little things in life.
Surviving are her siblings: Nichole (Dennis) Deaver, Bryce Thomas, Brian Thomas, and
Benjamin Mauk; stepfather, Bruce Mauk; nieces and nephews: Payton Monroe, Kira
Deaver, Katie Deaver, Brody Deaver, Kaleb Thomas, Kelby Thomas, Kamryn Kirthey,
Jaydan Kirtly, Nya Thomas, Sophia Mauk, Gemma Mauk and Zion Ashley; along with
many aunts, uncles, cousins and beloved friends.
Stephenie is preceded in death by her beloved mother and father, Steven Mark and
Jolene Marie Thomas; grandparents: Ray and Florence Thomas, Betty Trinkle, Ray
Dean Anderson, Margaret Anderson, Harold and Betty Mauk; aunts: Kris Buccholtz,
Debbie Mauk, Vicki Mauk and Ginny Mauk, and her uncle Vincent Anderson.
