The Pella Police Department engaged in the following activities during the week of May
11-17, 2025: 169 calls for service, 17 traffic citations, 57 traffic warnings, six parking
tickets, five accidents, five arrests, eight charges, zero juvenile referrals and one
warrant arrest.
COMMUNICATION CENTER WEEKLY STATS
The Pella Police Department Communications Center engaged in the following activities
during the same period: 351 incoming telephone calls and 36 total incoming 911 calls.
ARRESTS:
• On 05/15/25, a subject from Pella was charged with burglary, 1st degree, and assault.
The subject was incarcerated.
• On 05/15/25, a subject from Des Moines was charged with possession of drug
paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance 1st offense, and operating while
intoxicated 1st offense. The subject was incarcerated.
• On 05/15/25, two subjects from Ohio were charged with possession of a controlled
substance, marijuana 1st offense. The subjects were incarcerated.
• On 05/17/25, a subject from Knoxville was charged with operating while intoxicated,
2nd offense. The subject was incarcerated.
WARRANTS:
• On 05/11/25, a subject from Melcher was picked up on a Marion County arrest warrant
for probation violation. The subject was extradited to Marion County Jail.
