Pella Police Report Aug.17-23, 2025

The Pella Police Department engaged in the following activities during the week of
Aug.17-23, 2025: 227 calls for service, 17 traffic citations, 75 traffic warnings, 11 parking
tickets, four accidents, three arrests, 13 charges, one juvenile referral and one warrant
arrest.
COMMUNICATION CENTER WEEKLY STATS
The Pella Police Department Communications Center engaged in the following activities
during the same period: 296 incoming telephone calls and 40 total incoming 911 calls.
ARRESTS:
• On 08/22/25, a subject from Harvey was charged with driving while barred, possession
of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a controlled substance, marijuana 1st offense.
The subject was incarcerated.
• On 08/23/25, a subject from Sully was charged with assault on persons in certain
occupation bodily injury, assault on persons in certain occupation no injury, eluding,
interference, OWI, and failure to respond to red signal. The subject was transported to
Marion County Jail.
WARRANTS:
• On 08/20/25, a subject from Pella was picked up on a Wapello County arrest warrant
for probation violation. A deputy transported the subject to the Wapello County Jail.
