David and Dennis worked along with their parents laying the foundation for what is now
Colonial Terrace Mobile Home Park. The girls did their part mowing lawns and working
in the office.
Later Henry and Pat sold the park to son, David, and retired to their farm on East
Pleasant Street. Pat loved mushroom hunting, gardening, canning her bounty and
sharing her goods with friends and family.
Henry passed away Oct 8, 2001. Pat busied herself with volunteering and her family.
She reunited with classmate Wayne VanderPol. They dated and travelled for two
decades together, before settling into Homestead Assisted Living.
