Pella Police Report Oct. 6-12, 2024

The Pella Police Department engaged in the following activities during the week of Oct.
6-12, 2024: 220 calls for service, 35 traffic citations, 36 traffic warnings, 19 parking
tickets, seven accidents, two arrests, three charges, zero juvenile referrals and one
warrant arrest.

COMMUNICATION CENTER WEEKLY STATS
The Pella Police Department Communications Center engaged in the following activities
during the same period: 309 incoming telephone calls and 36 total incoming 911 calls.

ARRESTS:
• On 10/09/24, a subject from Ottumwa was charged with driving while revoked. The
subject was pretrial released with a court date.
• On 10/12/24, a subject from Newton was charged with operating while under the
influence, 1st offense, and possession of a controlled substance, marijuana 1st offense.
The subject was incarcerated.

WARRANTS:
• On 10/12/24, a subject from Pella was picked up on a US Marshals Service arrest
warrant for a probation violation. The subject was transported to the Marion County Jail
to await extradition.
