In the past 24 hours, Marion County Sheriff’s deputies responded to 21 calls for service
including, but not limited to: 8 extra patrol requests, 4 paper service attempts, 2
accidents, 1 motorist assist, 1 report of debris in the roadway, 1 civil matter, 1 request to
check welfare, 1 horse, 1 rescue, and 1 other call for service.
In the past 24 hours, the Marion County Sheriff’s office communications center fielded
47 calls including 21 911 calls.
The Marion County Jail is currently holding 14 subjects. In the past 24 hours, 1 subject
was booked into the Marion County Jail: Deven Lee Breese, age 31 of Knoxville, was
charged with criminal mischief 4th $300-$750 and harassment 3rd degree

In the past 24 hours, deputies responded to 28 calls for service including, but not limited
to: 10 extra patrol requests, 3 rescues,3 motorist assists, 2 civil matters, 2 vehicle
inspections, 1 vehicle unlock, 1 deer, 1 request to assists, another agency, 1 report of
suspicious odor, 1 request to check welfare, 1 report of a suspicious vehicle, and 2
other calls for service.
In the past 24 hours, the communications center fielded 62 calls including 14 911 calls.
The jail is currently holding 16 subjects. In the past 24 hours, 5 subjects were booked
into the Marion County Jail: Cody Jame Mitchell, age 33 of Knoxville, was charged with
possession of drug paraphernalia; Tyler Wayne Joynt, age 45 of Knoxville, was charged
with possession of drug paraphernalia; Meagan Renae Ratliff, age 27 of Knoxville, was
charged with possession of drug paraphernalia; Matthew Allen Reisinger, age 45 of
Pella, was charged with driving under suspension; Lyle Adam Riggs Jr, age 29, was
charged with driving while barred.

In the past 24 hours, deputies responded to 22 calls for service including, but not limited
to: 4 extra patrol requests, 3 motorist assists, 2 vehicle unlocks, 2 return calls, 1
incomplete 911, 1 dog, 1 request to assist another agency, 1 report of a reckless driver,
1 report of debris in the roadway, 1 violation of no contact order, 1 paper service
attempt, 1 follow up, 1 escort, and 2 other calls for service.
In the past 24 hours, the communications center fielded 106 calls including 28 911 calls.
The jail is currently holding 17 subjects. In the past 24 hours, 2 subjects were booked
into the jail: Paul James Robinson, age 59 of Benld, IL, was charged with possession of
a controlled substance 2nd, and possession of drug paraphernalia; David Lee Cogley,
age 66 of Knoxville, was charged with judgment entry/mittimus.

In the past 24 hours, deputies responded to 34 calls for service including, but not limited
to: 16 extra patrol requests, 9 paper service attempts, 2 follow up calls, 2 reckless
drivers, 1 rescue call, 1 return call, 1 suspicious person, 1 dog call, and 1 other call.
In the past 24 hours, the communications center fielded 72 calls including 15 911 calls.
The jail is currently holding 15 subjects. In the past 24 hours, 4 subjects were booked
into the jail: Michael Anthony Dethrow, age 28 of Knoxville, was charged with assault
with bodily injury; Sloan James Vodochodsky, age 18 of Knoxville, was charged with sex
offender register-1st offense, sex offender residency violence-1st, dis/exhibit obscene
material minor, and 2 counts of possession of media exploit minor-2nd; Michael Anthony
Dethrow, age 28 of Knoxville, was charged with violation of probation; Clarissa Marie
Schutjer, age 34 of Ottumwa, was charged with failure to appear/contempt of court.
Jan. 15
In the past 24 hours, deputies responded to 42 calls for service including, but not limited
to: 18 extra patrol requests, 11 paper service attempts, 3 return phone calls, 2 return
phone calls, 2 reckless drivers, 1 rescue, 1 trespass, 1 follow up, 1 motorist assist, 1
harassment, 1 welfare check, and 2 other calls.
In the past 24 hours, the communications center fielded 73 calls including 14 911 calls.
