Feb. 22
In the past 24 hours Marion County Sheriff’s deputies responded to 16 calls for service
including, but not limited to: 4 extra patrol requests, 3 requests to assist another agency,
3 paper service attempts, 2 rescues, 1 cat, 1 motorist assist, 1 deer, and 1 wanted
person.
In the past 24 hours, the Marion County Sheriff’s office communications center fielded
54 calls including 26 911 calls.
The Marion County Jail is currently holding 17 subjects. In the past 24 hours, 3 subjects
were booked into the Marion County Jail: Mirranda Lee O’Donnell, age 40 of Monroe,
was charged with possession-marijuana 1st, possession of a controlled substance 3rd,
and possession of drug paraphernalia; Jacob Rian Johnson, age 27 of Centerville, on a
judgment entry/mittimus; Steven Michael Keegel, age 32 of Bussey, on a judgment
entry/mittimus.
Feb. 23
In the past 24 hours, deputies responded to 26 calls for service including, but not limited
to: 20 extra patrol checks, 1 paper service attempts, 1 incomplete 911, 1 return call, 1
deer, 1 cat, and 1 report of a reckless driver.
In the past 24 hours, the communications center fielded 27 calls including 6 911 calls.
The jail is currently holding 16 subjects. In the past 24 hours, 3 subjects were booked
into the jail: Brady Nicholas Gholson, age 24 of Knoxville, was charged with possession
of drug paraphernalia; Kasie Rae Hills, age 45 of Harvey, on a judgment entry/mittimus;
Megan Renae Ratliff, age 28 of Knoxville, was charged with driving under suspension,
driving while license is suspended, and possession of marijuana 3 rd .

In the past 24 hours, deputies responded to 27 calls for service including, but not limited
to: 10 extra patrol requests, 3 paper service attempts, 2 rescue calls, 2 reckless drivers,
2 follow up calls, 2 fraud call, 1 accident, 1 vehicle unlock, 1 return call, 1 incomplete
911, and 2 other calls.
In the past 24 hours, the communications center fielded 89 calls including 27 911 calls.
The jail is currently holding 14 subjects. In the past 24 hours, no subjects were booked
into the jail.
Feb. 25
In the past 24 hours, deputies responded to 42 calls for service including, but not limited
to: 22 extra patrol requests, 9 paper service attempts, 3 rescue calls, 1 suspicious
person, 1 transport, 1 follow up call, 1 accident, 1 deer, 1 return phone call, met with 1
subject, and 1 other call.
In the past 24 hours, the communications center fielded 94 calls including 23 911 calls.
The jail is currently holding 20 subjects. In the past 24 hours, 8 subjects were booked
into the jail: Jonathan Allen Durham age 46 of Des Moines, Anthony Michael Olsen age
54 of Des Moines, Damina Lamorn Dudley age 32 of Polk City, Donald Jean Reed age
50 of Des Moines, Anthem Chol Duot age 25 of Des Moines, Roger Ronald Arends age
56 of Indianola, Ethan James Wilson age 27 of Hills, and Cody Leonard Greiner age 34
of Colfax, all being held for other agencies.

to: 7 paper service attempts, 4 extra patrol requests, 4 rescue calls, 3 reckless drivers, 2
motorist assists, 2 accidents, 2 follow up calls, 1 wanted subject, 1 harassment, 1
carcass, 1 residential alarm, 1 fraud, 1 debris in the roadway, 1 suspicious vehicle, 1
return phone call, and 1 other call.
In the past 24 hours, the communications center fielded 82 calls including 24 911 calls.
The jail is currently holding 21 subjects. In the past 24 hours, 1 subject was booked into
the jail: Naintara Kay Mahmood, age 37 of Pella, was charged with violation of
probation.

to: 9 extra patrol requests, 2 paper service attempts, 2 rescue calls, 1 horse, 1 vehicle
inspection, 1 debris in the roadway, 1 follow up calls, 1 accident, 1 dispute, 1 trespass,
and 1 other call.
In the past 24 hours, the communications center fielded 99 calls including 27 911 calls.
The jail is currently holding 21 subjects. In the past 24 hours, 2 subjects were booked
into the jail: Debbie Lue Gaffey, age 64 of Knoxville, was charged with possession of
drug paraphernalia; Lorentis Elliott Culver, age 42 of Albia, on a judgment
entry/mittimus.

to: 15 extra patrol requests, 4 motorist assists, 3 paper service attempts, 3 welfare
checks, 3 rescue, 2 accidents, 1 vehicle inspection, 1 report of trespass, 1 report of
suspicious activity, 1 vehicle unlock, 1 deer, and 4 other calls for service.

The jail is currently holding 21 subjects. In the past 24 hours, 2 subjects were booked
into the jail: Cooper Eugene Malone, age 18 of Monroe, was charged with possession of
a controlled substance-1,2,3rd, and possession-marijuana 1st; Justin James
Vandermartin, age 33 of Knoxville, was charged with violation of probation and
harassment-3rd degree.
