In the past 24 hours, Marion County Sheriff’s deputies responded to 40 calls for service
including, but not limited to: 19 extra patrol requests, 3 reports of reckless drivers, 2
rescues, 1 deer, 1 vehicle unlock, 1 report of a hazardous spill, 1 motorist assist, 1
grass fire, 1 accident, 1 report of a suspicious person, 1 report of debris in the roadway,
1 request to assist another agency, and 1 return call.
In the past 24 hours, the Marion County Sheriff’s office communications center fielded
60 calls including 16 911 calls.
The Marion County Jail is currently holding 21 subjects. In the past 24 hours, 3 subjects
were booked into the jail: David Carroll, age 58 of Knoxville, was charged with public
intoxication; Christopher John Wright, age 32 of Des Moines, was charged with OWI 1st
offense; Gary Leroy Vander Heiden, age 73 of Harvey, on a judgment entry/mittimus.

In the past 24 hours, deputies responded to 31 calls for service including, but not limited
to: 20 extra patrol requests, 3 motorist assists, 2 reports of reckless drivers, 2 accidents,
2 paper service attempts, 1 dispute, and 1 request to meet a subject.
In the past 24 hours, the communications center fielded 50 calls including 25 911 calls.
The jail is currently holding 18 subjects. In the past 24 hours, 2 subjects were booked
into the jail: Evan Paul Stursma, age 26 of Pella, was charged with OWI 1st offense,
open container driver 21+ years of age, and speeding; Andre Tshipamba Bilimine, age
40 of Ottumwa, was charged with violating a no contact order domestic, and operating
non registered vehicle.

In the past 24 hours, deputies responded to 27 calls for service including, but not limited
to: 10 paper service attempts, 7 extra patrol requests, 3 motorist assists, 2 accidents, 1
report of a suspicious vehicle, 1 reckless driver, 1 vehicle unlock request, 1 rescue, and
1 other call for service.
In the past 24 hours, the communications center fielded 65 calls including 9 911 calls.
The jail is currently holding 18 subjects. In the past 24 hours, no subjects were booked
into the jail.

In the past 24 hours, deputies responded to 25 calls for service including, but not limited
to: 10 paper service attempts, 6 extra patrol checks, 2 accidents, 2 motorist assists, 1
rescue call, 1 vehicle unlock, 1 report of a reckless driver, 1 report of a suspicious
vehicle, and 1 other call for service.
In the past 24 hours, the communications center fielded 96 calls including 27 911 calls.

into the jail: Graciemay Marie Lewis, age 22 of Knoxville, was charged with driving
under suspension; Sebastian Devere, age 29 of Knoxville, was charged with possession
of drug paraphernalia, and ineligible to carry weapon; Marceia Leian Cabrera, age 32 of
Knoxville, was charged with possession drug paraphernalia, and possession-marijuana

to: 7 paper service attempts, 5 extra patrol requests, 3 theft calls, 2 motorist assists, 2
accidents, 2 suspicious activity calls, 1 deer, 1 burglary, met with 1 subject, 1 carcass, 1
harassment, 1 welfare check, 1 grass fire, 1 incomplete 911, 1 follow up, 1 rescue call, 1
return call, 1 reckless driver, 1 illegal burn, and 1 other call.
In the past 24 hours, the communications center fielded 108 calls including 20 911 calls.
The jail is currently holding 17 subjects. In the past 24 hours, 2 subjects were booked
into the jail: Angelo Marquice Neely, age 20 of Oskaloosa, was charged with possession
of drug paraphernalia, and possession-marijuana 1st; Leedarius George Freeman, age
19 of Des Moines, is being held for another agency.

subjects, 2 rescue calls, 2 debris in the roadway, 2 transports, 2 deer calls, 2 reckless
drivers, 1 wanted subject, 1 accident, 1 return call, 1 motorist assist, 1 suspicious
person, 1 unlicensed driver, 1 vehicle unlock, 1 grass fire, 1 criminal mischief, 1 juvenile,
1 theft, and 2 other calls.
In the past 24 hours, the communications center fielded 100 calls including 13 911 calls.
The jail is currently holding 18 subjects. In the past 24 hours, 6 subjects were booked
into the jail: Devin John Rus, age 23 of Knoxville, was charged with domestic assault-
bodily injury-1st; Malinda Lee Ragsdale, age 60 of Van Meter, was charged with OWI-
1st offense, failure to maintain control, and open container-driver 21+ years of age;
Michael Dean Wilkins, age 63 of Knoxville, was charged with OWI-1st offense, open
container-driver 21+ years of age, provide proof financial liability, and failure to maintain
control; Kody Stephn Wooldridge, age 34 of Oskaloosa, was charged with driver license
denied/revoked-OWI; Emma Kay Bates, age 76 of Knoxville, was charged with
harassment-3rd degree; Cody Jo Authier, age 40 of Pleasantville, was charged with
OWI-1st offense, speed in >55 zone (20+ over), reckless driving, and open container-
driver 21+ years of age.

to: 7 extra patrol requests, 5 paper service attempts, 3 follow up calls, 2 return phone
calls, 2 accidents, 2 suspicious activity calls, 1 juvenile, met with 1 subject, 1 vehicle
unlock, 1 school bus violation, 1 debris in the roadway, 1 wanted subject, 1 reckless
driver, and 1 other call.
In the past 24 hours, the communications center fielded 77 calls including 16 911 calls.

into the jail: Edward Luke Norrell, age 26 of Knoxville, was charged with domestic

paraphernalia, and possession-marijuana 1st; Aaron Michael Brees, age 37 of
Knoxville, on a Judgment entry/mittimus; Christopher Daniel Clark, age 47 of
Pleasantville, was charged with criminal mischief 3rd degree.
