Animal Health Center of Knoxville Celebrates Twenty Years of Business

by Press Release

Animal Health Center of Knoxville is proudly celebrating 20 years of business, serving both large and small animals across Marion County and South-Central Iowa.

Under the leadership of owners Clint Hodson, Dewey Nibe, and Ryan Howard, Animal Health Center of Knoxville is part of five total locations, which also serve the communities of Albia, Ottumwa, Oskaloosa, and Centerville.

Animal Health Center was established in 2001 and has grown to include 12 veterinarians and more than 40 support staff who are experienced in providing trusted care for pets and livestock.

In 2025, the clinic moved into a newly constructed facility, located at 1480 Newbold Drive, that enhances its ability to serve local families. The new space allows for improved efficiency, added comfort, and increased capacity to provide the highest standard of care, locally.

“Our success has always been made possible by the dedication of our team,” says Clint Hodson. “We are deeply appreciative of our staff, whose skill and commitment make a difference each day, as well as the loyal backing of our clients and community who have entrusted us since day one.”

As Animal Health Center looks to the future, its commitment to strategic growth, staff development and best possible results remains unchanged. While remaining true to the values that have guided the clinic from the beginning, Animal Health Center looks forward to serving the Knoxville community for many years to come.
