Darian Brown

A celebration of life gathering for Darian Brown, age 26, of Martensdale, will be held Thursday, August 20, 2026, from 3:00 until 6:00 p.m. at the Pierschbacher Funeral Home in Knoxville.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family in care of his wife, Jordan Brown. A link is provided on this page under “Tribute Fund,” and all donations will be directed to the family.

Darian Christopher Brown was born March 10, 2000, in Sioux City, Iowa. He was raised in Houston, Texas, alongside his siblings, Devin, Dakota, Dawson, and Dallas. When Darian was about nine years old, he moved to the Martensdale and St. Charles area, where he attended Interstate 35 High School, graduating with the Class of 2018.

Growing up, Darian loved to go fishing and play baseball. He also enjoyed deer hunting with the guys and playing video games with his friends.

Over the years, Darian worked several different jobs and moved around a bit. He worked as an electrician and machinist, spent time working for his buddy at Beem’s Towing and Recovery, and had recently begun working at Herberger Construction.

Darian married Jordan Griggs on September 21, 2024. He loved Jordan deeply and was over the moon in love with his children, Laetyn and Beau. His young family meant the world to him. Everyone who met Darian could see that he loved with all his heart and was one of the most caring and soft-hearted people you could know.

Darian will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him, including his wife, Jordan Brown; his adorable children, Laetyn and Beau; his mother, Stacey (Paul) Anderson; siblings, Devin (Zach) Williams, Dakota Brown, Dawson Brown, Dallas (London) Brown, Eldon Anderson, Kayla Anderson, and Justin (Izzy) Anderson; grandparents, Darrell Blanford, Carol Blanford, Steve Van Buskirk, James Anderson, Sally Anderson, and Kenneth and Judy Brown; along with many extended family members and friends.
