TIF informational meetings planned

The City of Pella will host two informational meetings about Tax Increment Financing (TIF). This was council’s direction following controversy tied to Central College’s hopes to lease some of its land for development. 

The first meeting is scheduled for Sept. 3 at 6 p.m. at the public safety complex. The second is scheduled for Oct. 15 at 6 p.m., also at the public safety complex. 

The public is invited and encouraged to attend.
