In the past 24 hours Marion County Sheriff’s deputies responded to 29 calls for service
including, but not limited to: 5 paper service attempts, 4 extra patrol checks, 3 motorist
assists, 3 follow up calls, returned two phone calls, 2 reports of livestock in the road, 1
vehicle unlock, 1 animal neglect, 1 fraud, 1 found item, 1 rescue, 1 dog, 1 escort, 1
incomplete 911, 1 request to assist another agency, and 1 other call.
In the past 24 hours the Marion County Sheriff’s office communications center fielded 92
calls, including 24 911 calls.
The Marion County jail is currently holding 20 subjects. In the past 24 hours, 2 subjects
were booked into the Marion County Jail: Meredith Mackenzie Lemon, age 29 of Des
Moines, charged with violation of probation; Jacob Aaron Burns, age 29 of Knoxville,
driving while barred.
Dec. 12:
In the past 24 hours, deputies responded to 21 calls for service including but not limited
to: 6 extra patrol requests, 3 paper service attempts, 2 follow ups, 2 accidents, 1 rescue,
1 request for assistance, 1 dog, 1 theft, 1 incomplete 911, 1 transport, 1 returned phone
call, and 1 motorist assist.
In the past 24 hours the communications center fielded 92 calls, including 31 911 calls.
The jail is currently holding 20 subjects. In the past 24 hours, 2 subjects were booked
into the Marion County Jail: Matthew Dean Roland, age 47 of Harvey, judgement
entry/mittimus; Timothy Joe Latcham, age 67 of Tracy, charged with OWI-second,
carrying weapons while intoxicated, interference with official acts, assault-display
dangerous weapon, reckless use firearm-no injury/damages, reckless driving, following
too close and an open container-driver 21+youthful offenders act.

In the past 24 hours, deputies responded to 38 calls for service including but not limited
to: 11 paper service attempts, 10 extra patrol requests, 2 transport, 2 returned calls, 2
welfare checks, 1 assist another agency, 1 civil matter, 1 follow up, 1 report of
suspicious person, 1 dispute, 1 incomplete 911, 1 report of fraud, 1 motorist assist, one
accident, 1 rescue, and 1 report of a suspicious activity.
In the past 24 hours the communications center fielded 77 calls, including 22 911 calls.
The jail is currently holding 19 subjects. In the past 24 hours, 2 subjects were booked
into the jail: Felicity Alyne Visser, age 43 of Tracy, charged with possession of
marijuana-first; Meagan Renae Ratliff, age 26 of Knoxville, hold for another agency.

to: 8 extra patrol, 7 paper service attempts, 4 follow ups, 4 motorist assists, 3
incomplete 911s, 2 accidents, 2 juveniles, 2 wanted persons, 1 rescue, 1 report of
criminal mischief, 1 transport, 1 request for a vehicle unlock, 1 theft, 1 return call, 1
report of trespass, 1 escort, 1 report of debris in the roadway, 1 report of fraud, 1
domestic, and 1 other call for service.

paraphernalia, driving under suspension; Ronald Lee Bacon, age 54 of Altoona, on
judgement entry/mittimus and violation of a no contact order; Gerardo Magana, age 24
of Ottumwa, charged with violation of probation.

limited to: 5 rescues, 4 extra patrol requests, 2 reports of suspicious people, 2 motorist
assists, 1 returned call, 1 request for a vehicle unlock, 1 pole fire, 1 request for a welfare
check, 1 wanted person, 1 juvenile, and 1 report of suspicious activity.
In the past 24 hours, the communications center fielded 82 calls, including 41 911 calls.

into the Marion County Jail: Michael Duane Des Planque, age 73 of Knoxville, charged
with OWI-first; Matthew Jacob Lobberecht, age 34 of Knoxville, charged with theft-fifth;
Richard Paul Wilson, age 54 of Pella, charged with Possession of a controlled
substance 1-3; Dustin Steven Conrad, age 39 of Bussey, charged with public
intoxication and interference with official acts and burglary-third; Brandon Dean Lint,
homeless, age 47, charged with driving under suspension and fraudulent use of
registration, failure to provide proof of financial liability and theft-fourth.
Dec 16:
In the past 24 hours, deputies responded to 19 calls for service including but not limited
to: 6 extra patrol requests, 3 rescues, 2 returned calls, 2 reports of reckless drivers, 2
wanted person, 1 incomplete 911, 1 dog, 1 report of a suspicious vehicle, and 1
domestic.
In the past 24 hours, the communications center fielded 82 calls, including 37 911 calls.
The jail is currently holding 20 subjects.
In the past 24 hours, 2 subjects were booked into the Marion County Jail: Candie Jean
Kingery, age 43 of Des Moines, on a judgement entry; Steven James Thompson, age
29 of Knoxville, charged with theft-fourth.
