The Pella Police Department engaged in the following activities during the week of Dec.
15-21, 2024: 182 calls for service, six traffic citations, 17 traffic warnings, 2 parking
tickets, five accidents, one arrest, eight charges, two juvenile referrals and zero warrant
arrests.
COMMUNICATION CENTER WEEKLY STATS
The Pella Police Department Communications Center engaged in the following activities
during the same period: 250 incoming telephone calls and 37 total incoming 911 calls.
ARRESTS:
• On 12/16/24, a subject from Ankeny was charged with criminal mischief 4th degree,
disorderly conduct, interference with official acts, and trespass 1st offense. The subject
was incarcerated.
JUVENILE REFERRALS:
• On 12/20/24, two juveniles from Knoxville were referred to Juvenile Court Services for
possession of alcohol by a person under 18, and theft 5th degree. Both juveniles were
cited and released to a guardian.
