Big News, Knoxville!

by Press Release

We are officially breaking ground on our new Public Safety & City Hall Facility, and you’re invited to celebrate with us!

This landmark project is moving forward at 102 N. Lincoln Street, the site of the former middle school. Thanks to a strong community partnership between the City of Knoxville and the Knoxville Community School District, this property has been transitioned to the city to serve a vital new purpose: providing a modern, secure home for our Police, Fire, and EMS teams.

The best part? This project is being funded through the Local Option Sales Tax (LOST). Because this revenue is generated by a 1% tax on taxable goods and services purchased by both residents and visitors, we are building for the future with no direct impact on your property taxes. It’s a win-win for Knoxville’s safety and our local taxpayers!
