2026 Lucas Oil Late Model Knoxville Nationals Canceled Due to Heavy Rain
The 22nd running of the Lucas Oil Late Model Knoxville Nationals, scheduled for September 17-19 at Knoxville Raceway, has been canceled due to heavy rainfall throughout the week and the forecast for additional rain through the weekend.
After closely monitoring conditions and consulting with weather partners at BAM Weather, Knoxville Raceway and Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series officials determined that the event could not be completed as scheduled.
With competitors and fans preparing to travel long distances to Knoxville, officials believed making an early decision was in everyone’s best interest. The high cost of fuel and other travel-related expenses were important considerations, and announcing the cancellation as soon as possible will help prevent fans and race teams from incurring unnecessary costs.
All tickets and camping will be refunded to your Knoxville Raceway account and can be used toward your purchase for the 2027 Lucas Oil Late Model Knoxville Nationals, scheduled for September 16-18, 2027. Those who prefer a refund may request one by contacting the Knoxville Raceway ticket office at 641-842-5431.
