Pella Police Report Dec. 8-14, 2024

The Pella Police Department engaged in the following activities during the week of Dec.
8-14, 2024: 186 calls for service, five traffic citations, 11 traffic warnings, one parking
ticket, four accidents, two arrests, three charges, one juvenile referral and one warrant
arrest.

COMMUNICATION CENTER WEEKLY STATS
The Pella Police Department Communications Center engaged in the following activities
during the same period: 259 incoming telephone calls and 49 total incoming 911 calls.
ARRESTS:
• On 12/09/24, a subject from Ottumwa was charged with possession of a controlled
substance-1st offense. The subject was charged and given a pre-trial release date
• On 12/09/24, a subject from Pella was charged with Theft 5th. The subject was
charged and released with a court date.
JUVENILE REFERRALS:
• On 12/08/24, a subject from Pella was referred to Juvenile Court Services for criminal
mischief 4th. The juvenile was charged and released to a guardian.
WARRANTS:
• On 12/12/24, a subject from Minnesota was picked up on an Emmet County warrant
for harassment 3rd. The subject was picked up by Marion County Deputies.
